K.G.F: Chapter 1 is a 2018 Indian Kannada-language period activity film composed and coordinated by Prashanth Neel, and created by Vijay Kiragandur under the standard Hombale films. The advancement of the film started in mid 2015 when Neel finished composing the screenplay. However, recording started just two years after the fact, on 15 January 2017. Most of the film is set in the Kolar Gold Fields and was shot on areas like Kolar, Mysore and parts of North Karnataka. The creation of the film was finished on 17 August 2018. Bhuvan Gowda took care of the cinematography and Srikanth Gowda altered the film. Ravi Basrur scored music for the soundtrack and the film's background.
After a North American debut on 20 December 2018, K.G.F: Chapter 1 was delivered in Kannada and in named variants of Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Hindi dialects the next day, and got positive reaction from audiences. However, pundits gave the film blended surveys. The film performed well financially and gathered ₹250 crore in its whole dramatic run, breaking the record for the most elevated netting Kannada film of all time. At the 66th National Film Awards, the film won two honors for Best Action and Best Special Effects. Ravi Basrur made the soundtrack collection and the film's score, while Tanishk Bagchi remastered the track "Gali" from Tridev (1989) for the film's Hindi version. The sound privileges of the film were bought by Lahari Music in Kannada, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam for ₹3.6 crore, a record total for any South Indian film, with the exception of the Hindi form which was purchased by T-Series.
The track "Salaam Rocky Bhai" was filled in as the lead single from the soundtrack album. It was delivered in Kannada, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam on 7 December 2018, alongside the full soundtrack album; while the collection for the Hindi adaptation was delivered on 9 December 2018. The karaoke renditions of the melodies were delivered on 27 December 2018.
The film's score was delivered in two volumes: The principal volume of the first soundtrack was delivered on 10 September 2019, and the subsequent volume was delivered on 12 October 2019.
